Lovely chat with Prue good catch up.
Drove half an hour north east to the small town of Castro Verde for the market, where Yvonne bought the fleecey sheets.
It was very quiet.....went to the information centre....no market this month.....walked around but apart from the odd Chinese shop nothing much open and hardly anyone around.
Tony did go in to one Chinese shop bought new inner soles, after all the mikes we have walked haha, and a knee brace.
We had a coffee and a mini chicken pie and a sweet treat.
Then drove back to Ourique to Pingo Doce supermarket to stock up Bessie for onward journey. Pat said 5,6 and 7 are big public holiday in Spain for 3 King's Day celebrations, everything will be shut.
After loading Bessie up, we went to local restaurant that we went with Yvonne and Mike before they left. I had Codfish, not like cod....it was thick and moist with a large backbone and ribs on top, which was golden and looked like a crispy topping, but it was the bones. very tasty........not the bones . Tony had pork steaks and so many of them the dogs got a treat haha.
Gazpacho soup and pizza for dinner .
