Mon 29 May 12° Lincoln

Cooler today after light rain overnight, leisurely morning and cuppa with Ena before leaving.

Got sat nav all set for Melton Mowbray,  the home of the pork pie,  then onto Rutland Water for a couple of nights.

We reversed out and round onto verge, as we had yesterday and every time we leave.....a loud crash...cracking......the neighbours tree branch hit the satalite dome and cracked it like the top off a boiled egg!!!  Must have just come over a fraction more than usual......so back into Enas.....

Ladder, black sack, duct tape and towel to dry the wet roof....got the gaping hole covered against the weather. Bit of a grey damp day only light intermittent showers so hope the bag sticks fast.

As everything is closed being a public holiday, we have another night here, then ring around in the morning for replacement and fitting. Buggar!

Once again Pat and Les very helpful with ideas, thoughts and suggestions.

Ena went to get milk and bread and came back with fish pie for our dinner, bless her heart, we said we had eggs and would have an omelet but fish pie it was.
