We rang Brownhills, they would have to order the satalite, takes 3 days, only come in complete set with cable and box everything £2000 !!shock horror, fortunately the service dept was fully booked till September.
We therefore had to ring around and finally got the name of a local satellite specialist. He said to get back up on roof take off covering and check that it is still working and take a photo.
Luckily it was still working so he was able to order just a replacement dome , approx cost £200 wheewww much more like it. It is due to arrive late Thursday or Friday morning, he will ring when it arrives and we will farewell Ena....drive round to his place at Brant Broughton about 15 mins away. ...sorted...
We had boiled eggs for lunch..the shells were almost harder than the satalite dome haha
We walked up to co-op to get cash to pay him...wanted to charge us £2 for the privilege...cancelled that. So will get the bus into town tomorrow and get some there.
Pork steak and salad out of Bessie for dinner.
