Lovely sunny day, we got the bus into Lincoln to get cash for Rob on Friday for the satalite dome. Ena went for a roll up at bowls with Roz and Paul.
It's the school holidays and the city had put up 'knight' statues in different places around the city and printed leaflets for the children to follow and find them with information and history of the different locations. Very good activity for the holidays, great atmosphere around he city.
Tony got his pork pie, Lincolnshire sausages, scotch egg and a local delicacy called Haslet, sort of like a meat loaf, quite spicy also some fresh strawberry s from the market.
We called into a travel agent to find out about flights back to NZ to arrive back end of April in time for me to apply for my pension in Tauranga, got a few ideas and options.
21° at 7pm after Haslet and scotch egg for dinner we sat outside and had our fresh strawberries and coconut yoghurt....yumm.
Lovely chat with Jenna, decided to stay Friday night at Rutland Water as not sure what time will be finished with repairs and go on to London on Saturday.
