Cloudy but warm when the sun breaks through.
Walked up to the castle, lovely warm sunny day, great views from there.
On return bought pie from the beach shop for lunch, then did planning for next couple of days and into Ireland......need a pub for next rugby test haha.
Afternoon walk along the soft warm powdery sand, then damp riberlets leaving deep impressions, several jellyfish and a couple of crabs along the way to the point. Tony walked towards the distant water only to return after nearly slipping over in the black slimey mud that coated his toes like dipping chocolate.....was quite hard to get off.
Back towards the car park and the sugar coated almond coloured houses at back of car park. Ice cream shops open.....salted caramel for Tony and I had a Pembrokeshire promise, vanilla and honeycomb...bit like our hokey pokey. Sat on the bench in front of Bessie had an interesting conversation with a lady who lives in south of France with her family living in nearby Italy, who have a holiday cottage here. They held a play at the castle Othello which she said was very good, Anthony Hopkins theatre company put it on, some years ago now, but good to see the old castles still having a use.
Ginger lamb steaks for dinner.
