Thurs 22 June 19° Winchcombe to Chepstow Monmouthshire

What a difference a day makes 10° drop in temperature from yesterday.

After a light lunch and more chatting, watched a bit of tennis and left at  3pm to our next stop 2 hours away. The sun came out and warmed up to 22°

Parked in Chepstow Castle car park, free after 5pm until 9am.

Chepstow Castle is the oldest surviving post Roman stone fortification in Britain on the cliffs above the river Wye.

Couple of vans pulled in, the touring theatre company Odd Socks, performing Macbeth tomorrow night at the  castle........ummmmmm Macbeth or first test Lions vs All Black's rugby.......ummmmmm such choices.

Cold beef salad for dinner.
