Sunny day for our drive south west to our next destination, drove under miles of green canopies made by the branches had formed leafy tunnel arches. Past green fields decided with hedgerows along mostly good roads, the red soil of Devon gone now and back normal grey. Stonewalls or wildflower all along the roadside.
We stopped at sainsburys for fresh salad and long life milk. Tony went in after lunch while I caught up on the blog. Then we got some diesel £1.17ltr £40 worth 34 litres.
Park for the night beach car park at Longrock looking out to Mount St.Michael, what a great spot and only £1 .
Had to manuever a bit when a couple of cars left as we are a bit long, but managed to squeeze in between rocks and bushes. Tony went to pay at the machine and got talking to other motorhomers who had done the NC500 and said although single Lane in places people very courteous and not a problem. Also been to Portugal and gave us details of a campsite there. They also said can drive all the way down toLands End.
Tony bought some NZ lamb steaks at sainsburys for dinner with little boiled potatoes and salad.
Lovely warm afternoon and evening, has summer arrived.
