Tues 6 June 11° Arundel to Wimborne near Poole in Dorset

Rain all night with bits falling off the trees on to the roof......very disturbed night hoping nothing big would crash on the new satellite dome. Very strong, gusty winds.

The German couple we met last night that were parked behind us, left at 7.30 and tied a Lidl bag to the wing mirror with their Street adress in case we ever get back to Wasserburg. How nice, it was pouring with rain when they got back from their very long walk, so we didn't get to chat again.

Rang and booked our 2 free nights at Merley Court for tonight and tomorrow , all good , she upgraded us to an executive pitch with own Ehu, water and drainage. Very good service.

This was because when we were here in November they had a power cut and I had a very cold shower, so they offered us a free weekend.

Drove through the New Forest National Park, very gusty winds and a couple of short sharp showers, arrived about 1.30. Relaxing afternoon, we did the crossword and made a spag bowl for dinner.

Read the rest of the book Jenna lent me, was quite a bit of magic and wizard goings on, but a good murder mystery. I told her I had finished it, I am a very quick reader haha, she said she had the 2nd one and would give it to me in August. The back of the book had the first part of the next book and it did seem good, so will be pleased to have that to read.

Wind died down, it was still lingering but not so blustery.
