Sat 3 June Rutland Water to Lewin Road, London

Sunny day, very quiet, dogs and  hidden around but you would never know.

Good 4 hour drive, quite a bit of traffic coming into the Blackwall Tunnel, it was hot too, thank goodness for the fridge and bottles of cold water.

Arrived Lewin Road 2.30, Jenna said she would make us lunch as hadn't been able to stop anywhere. We sat outside in the garden in the sun,  drinking cocktails. Then Alex cooked a tasty chicken and rice dish for dinner. Jenna made meringue with cream and fresh berries.

Lovely catch up they had found  bottle of Yealands S1 in duty free to share with us, very thoughtful.

10pm news heard about the London Bridge attack....bit close for comfort.
