Fri 9 June 14° Dorchester to Paignton

Woke to the new of a hung parliament,  with amazing gins for Labour......oh dear the gamble well and truly backfired. Good luck with that Britain.

Windy but sunny and dry, so we walked up to the ramparts of the Maiden Castle.  Very bracing.

Leisurely morning watching g the election special before we set off along the Jurassic coast road to Paignton to visit Ian and Heather. The sun went in and the sky darkened - seems in keeping with the gloomy election result.

Diesel  £1.17 ltr £60 51.3ltrs.

Through Lyme Regis and I to Devon, stopped at local shop for some home cooked ham and fresh bread for lunch. Then along steep and narrow roads, the sun came out, Theresa May got to form her government with DUP.

Teignmouth car park and info site.

Arrived Heather and Ians 3.15, good catch up, fish and chips for dinner.
