Saturday 31 December -1° - 4° Foggy

Jenna's knee didn't improve much so went upstairs in reverse bottom position and hopping.
Got up 6.30 for drive to Bergerac for Jenna and Alex Flight, the knee still doesn't like weight on it so a  bottom slide down the stairs and a hop round  and out to Cedric.
Very foggy so slow drive got there on time, Alex went ahead to ask for assistance and a very helpful lady on check in organised a wheelchair and checked Jenna's bag for free. She then gave Jenna a note for the crew to arrange a hoist to get her up into the plane. So a huge bouquet for Ryanair for their help and assistance,.

Amazed the flight took off it was so foggy but they got back ok so all good. Slow return drive for us still foggy.

Took dogs out for belated walk then a few domestics before Carrefour and Gabriel the wine man.
After their afternoon walk we made asparagus rolls to take tonight to Roger and Gwyneth for New Years Eve party.

It was a great night with wonderful hosts and lovely group of expat friends, from Denmark, UK , local French friends and us from NZ  Fun games like guess what's under the cloth, Carol singing, back to front 12 days of xmas, action game and charades. With guest skits through the the evening. At midnight bubbles was handed out and we all sang old Lang syne followed by  trip down memory lane for me doing the okey cokey and the conger.  Real old English tradition. Such fun.
Happy New Year and we hope 2017 will be a great year for everyone.
