Dogs slept in till 8am must have been warm with fire going well through the night after our guests left.
After morning walk we went to Saint Cyprien market to get a hot rotisserie ham hock €8 that Tish and Stu had introduced us to before they left. We had a market lunch and fresh pastries yum. Dogs quite subdued on return after an hour of being away, stayed in their baskets, but made up for it when they came out.
Going down for afternoon walk there were hunters at the bottom of the road bear Martine's wood, rifle slung over shoulder. While walking heard 3 shots and the dogs came running back to us, sounded so close. Clifford became attached to a branch Tony had been throwing to him and brought it back in Cedric, to add to wood pile, but lost interest when dinner was up. Hunters still there on way back to house.
Another good meal cooked by the skipper, very spoilt.
