Pont Du gard, impressive without even seeing it for the size of the car park, this Historic Places site is an astounding piece of Roman Engineering and Achitecture, quite remarkable. Well worth the €8.50 each entrance, including videos, museum and walks, although we did see on the sign a discount for RSA. Tony duly produced our card to be faced with a blank look, in France the RSA is a welfare card for unemployed or poor people.........good try though.

The lady recommended a free park for the night 8 km away just before Collias on river Gard, not too noisy so should be fine.
A great first day back on the road, even the sat nav behaved.
