Monday 19 March 6° Pamplona to San Sebastian

10 days left of our adventures.....cool grey day as we watched 3 mkh9having trouble leaving,  the barrier was not reading their number plates so wasn't going up to let them out. Eventually they rang through and got out.

We had the same trouble but the person or  the other end very polite and raised the barrier, so we drove next door to fill up with diesel  €1.13 35ltrs €40 and lpg .64c 7ltrs €4.35, also got some more coins if need at another Aire.

Sooooo  many roundabouts to get out of the city then up into the mountains with light showers into the Sierra  de A dia and Sierra de Arala. Very heavy rain and possibly a little snow as we climb higher, but not a long distance today just a couple of hours drive.

A lovely long tunnel saved us from more of a climb then down again and the rain  eased as we drove along tree lined boulevards of San Sebastian, along the seafront with houses built on the side of the hills not unlike Wellington.

We climbed up and up to the top of a mountain,  pouring with rain as we reach the campsite, acsi site €19 with full services and Ehu.  The gravel on mthe pitches was very thin and muddy from all the rain, quite narrow driveway and difficult to get into the pitch,  churned up the mud with front tyre trying to get over onto the gravel. Got on the chocs, plugged in had lunch. The rain stopped and the sun came out, supposed to rain again  tommorow but Wed and Thursday dry and fine, so will catch the bus down into the town then.

Two more moho's arrived and struggled into their muddy pitches.

Caught up on blog with the free WiFi.

Turkey fillets, veg and potatoes for dinner.
