We sold Bessie this morning! We had interest from a couple in Lincoln yesterday and agreed a price today. Sad but relieved to have sold.
Pat and Les will pop round and get a deposit to seal the deal and we will take her up mid April after Fiona's funeral..
Pat told us yesterday that their ex. gardener in Spain died suddenly, he woke up not feeling quite right, stayed in bed and when his wife went in to check on him, he was dead...just like that........you just never know when your number is up.
Then today our Niece 's husband was taken unwell at work, taken to hospital in an ambulance, had a heart attack and immediately operated putting in 3 stents....47! Thank goodness they got him straight away, he is one of the lucky ones and will be OK.
Great service by the ambulance and Lincoln hospital.
We had a very blustery drive to our campsite in Valencia, had lunch, and got settled.
Lots of permanent or long stays here and tight sites to get into but quite private.
Best showers from the whole trip ! Hot water, no restrictions, very good pressure and heated room, so was able to warm up my clothes to put on....bliss.....worth The €19 just for that haha. Bus every 35 mins outside the gate into the city, that's tomorrow taken care of.
Turkey, vege and potatoes for dinner, cooked skillfully by the skipper while I write this.
Glass of stout to celebrate and commiserate at the same time. Onwards and upwards.
