Tues 13 March 11° Gava, Sth of Barcelona - Sagrada Familia

Showers early this morning but cleared to a fine day. Bus into city centre, had lunch, salmon sandwich for me and sausages and pepper baguette for Tony.

Walked 45 mins up to the Sagrada Familia,  bought tickets 1 senior and 1 adult...she queried my age haha with just 2 months till I'm officially a senior haha. Had to wait until 1.45 for entry time, so had a good look and walk around the outside, an amazing building, Gaudi was a genius. Words and photos can not come close to the real thing, stunningly beautiful work in progress.

We left at 5pm enjoyed a coffee just outside looking at this amazing building, reminded me of  when we were in Florence and had a coffee outside the incredible Cathedral there, then walked back the 45 mins to the centre, our bus was there so hopped on and back to Bessie 6.30pm.

Message from Pat, exciting news, so rang, they have upgraded Ruby to a newer, and better one with all the bells and whistles, sounds fantastic,  congratulations you two you deserve it. Enjoy many miles of safe travels, very excited and happy for them.

Omelet for dinner with tomato and cucumber salad.
