Happy first anniversary Jenna and Alex and Sarah and Gerry.
Much more relaxed exit from nights stopover, calm seasoned motorhomes now haha, Tony back on right side of road like he had always been there.
Mass power pilons along road as we head north to Brugge, lovely sunny day drove straight into Belgium, very flat either side.
Steep pitch roofs, probably for the snow, mostly orange tiled some black. Long procession of trucks and long lay-by s for them as so many.
Drove into Brugge campsite, €20, couldn't get it to take card, German motorhomer inside came to help, just had to push button for ticket....dahhhh....then pay when leave......hope we can!
English lady very helpful at toilet dump/water point, said to disinfect tap as get used to wash toilet cassettes. Also tulips not out till early April and Germany could need winter tyres.
Walked into town, enroute had a hot chocolate, not a patch on that I had in Melbourne made with real chocolate.
Went on free city walking tour, much to learn and enjoy legends of medieval Brugge history as told by guide Nicholas.
Donation for guide which in return gave us discount off a waffle and free beer at cellar bar 800 years old, which we went to and enjoyed a paddle of 5 local beers and interesting talk on its history of beer making by barman.
Walked back to Bessie, skipper cooked another tasty omelet.
