Mon 6 March 8°

Sun shining for our drive to Sue's at Wateringbury, farewelled Ena. Stopped at co-op for £1heart foundation lottery ticket with 'winnings'.

South and east via Grantham, avoiding Dartford Tunnel  £2.50, as sat nav is set for no tolls. Trip down memory lane for me going through places I remember from childhood,  blackwall tunnel,  Lewisham,  Catford,  Eltham,  Greenwich past the Royal pub that used to have a bomb shelter in the back garden that Pat and I would play on, called it the pub with the bump, now a petrol station on back garden, but pub still there.

Sat Nav obviously likes it further down the windscreen as working well today ☺

I am feeling more comfortable with the map now, more relaxed and less stressed.

Into Kent The Garden of England.

Bob at Sue's so good catch with them both, afternoon and evening .
