Lovely sunny day completed all domestics, filled with water ready for next adventure .
Yesterday bought our vehicle placard for Austria €8.90 for 10 days minimum requirement.
Exited city, lots of road works and construction going on.Drove through long Coppler tunnel out into bright sunshine. Slow gentle climb Up into Black Forest, with cycle way on one side, good road babling Brook with sight of distant remains of snow on peaks.
Double dekker train running parallel to road, house like wooden chalets with steep roof pitch for snow.
We obviously have wifi again, so not sure what's going on.
Ski jumps and slopes but no snow thank goodness, lots of trucks and big lorries through Doggingdon tunnel about 1km long thru the mountain, over 2 massive viaducts, so high, don't look down. At a plateau crops growing and a massive distribution centre with at least 50 bays for trucks to load from.
The view made me think of John denver' s song Rockyou Mountain High. Green lush fields rolling up and down planted with crops or ploughed maze fields, rural road bit quieter no trucks.
Cycleway along side of road, first sight sparking lake Bodensee, breathtaking scenery.
Plan A park for the night not suitable, Plan B Co ordinates took us to a housing estate, so drove back to where we saw motorhome sign and came down parallel to housing estate on other side of railway. Free park for the night but too close to railway so moved to other side.
Walked into village, got info from I site, 15 min walk to Lake front with Swiss Alps as back drop.
Walked back stopping for first German beer in sunshine bar on corner of village.
Relaxing, peaceful hour spent here then back to Bessie, where the skipper cooked yet another great omelet for dinner.
