Topped up with water, left the site and went to fill with diesel before going back into France €1.008 great price €36 for 35 ltrs. No lpg at any service station that we have seen.
Called in to Carrefour, decided to get the Jameson at €11.90 be silly not to, plus 3lt Rose €9.25.......well summer is coming.
Drove south and not far along was a sign saying in French, Welcome to Moselle...French diesel €1.35 ltr. Long straight roads with roundabouts every mile or so, definately back in france.
Near to site was a Lidl so popped in for veges and stock up a bit. Arrived at site 1pm and it was Full! Only spaces for 8 motorhomes in a largecarpark next to Moselle River. We decided to wait in the only spare place which was for disabled in the hope that someone would leave which they did, so took the park.
Now just after 3pm 19° so decided to wash winter pj's while Tony spoke to German chap in nearby motorhome, he had just come back from 4 months in spain and gave us his list of free aires in spain and a list of sites in Germany. Very kind of him.
Opened skylights and windows.....summer ! yeahhhhh we watched motorhomes come and leave again as site is full. So this is what it will be now with the warm weather and sites filling up early, we thought 1pm was early, may have to arrive even earlier.
Thought we had better get some summer clothes out and put the nicely aired winter ones away, kept some out as cool morning and night, but this is lovely now.
