Fri 24 March 8° Wasserburg - train to Lindau island.

Grey haze over sky today much cooler than yesterday. Train to Lindau Island for day €2.60 each one way, got talking to elderly German couple here on holiday from Stuttgart, managed in broken German and English to both be understood.

Lindau has managed to retain its old world charm, no bratwurst stalls here.

Colourful Altes Rathaus, the local council building and very different Munster Unserr Lieben Frau with white painted walls and artworks hanging along sides with gilt frames and statues. The ceiling had a huge mural painted very different from other churches.

Got back to Bessie another motorhome was parked in front of us, they returned on their bikes and also moved over the bus park on other side of road to railway line.

Salmon steaks and hot vegetables tonight, very chilly day the sun  just couldn't get through the clouds today.
