We drove into town to the I site to get map and information, 10.30 the start of the Romantic Road.
Arrived at Neuschwastein Castle car park €8.50 for motorhomes. Walked up a very steep and winding, tarmac road, cars can come up and they have horse drawn carriages to take people up and down....good choice...40 min steep climb to the castle.

Back to Bessie for lunch and to Friedberg for our site at Hasen Brau Brewery, past green flat pastures and little white church at Denklingen and past fields of solar panels.

Co ordinates took us to a horse yard....definitely not a brewery......fortunately a couple of locals told us of a nearby lake with parking, so we went and found a lovely spot for our wild camp tonight. There were a few people fishing, thought our Niece Roz and Paul who love their fishing......they catch and throw back.
Full day for us 5.30 into site, late for us, so cleansing ale that we didn't get at the non existing brewery.....well it does exist in Augsburg but they didn't think they would allow parking overnight. So lake it is, few midges but not a problem.
