Fresh but sunny day, lots of roundabouts as we head out of town, Repsol for diesel €1.13 €40 for 35 ltrs served again very good service.
Vineyards along the roadway took a detour to Villafranca del Bierzo to see the Door of Forgiveness....too narrow and a policeman had to guide us out so never got to see the famous door.
Over several viaducts and thru several tunnels amazing feat of engineering. 11 miles out of Lugo a very fine mist was in the air...or were we up in the clouds...at turnoff, lots of new roadways and sat nav got horribly confused and drove us round a bit, so followed the signs till she found her way again,
Climbed up steep hill following moho park signs......a circus was parked all over it....out of season so closed for us. Pulled over and had lunch, couldn't find anything else around so plan B on to A Coruna. When we were on the new Road way a cone was just in our lane and we clipped it, Tony had a look while we were here and there was something missing....the waste water pipe and tap all gone...even the bracket holding it up, gone.
As we headed off there were more new roads and sat nav got confused again....eeekkkk. Arrived at Marina site 4pm, barrier arm but man came out and let us in, office with showers and toilets, he showed us the Ehu and said park anywhere...not difficult we were only ones here.
Plugged in and checked it with socket tester, only 1 light 'live earth reverse' so tried another plug and it was good...thanks Les for advising us to get the gadget socket tester.
Vietnamese lemongrass and ginger chicken with vege and rice for dinner yummy. Caught up on blog but poor signal so wouldn't load photos.
At 9.30pm a large motorhome with 3 kids parked right next to us, unloaded the kids who proceeded to kick a ball around.....bit close and thump....the ball hit poor Bessie.
Then a campervan came in a parked the other side....very cosy....rest of car park empty.
