Another stunning day, warm and sunny, this is just what we needed. However woke to very low leisure batteries and no water or gas ignition, fridge and 12v charger ok. Turned on engine and ran for half an hour, came back up again, definately need to get to a camp for a good hook up on electric.

John and Ingrid were out having morning  coffee , then joined by Tineke and Paul their travelling friends, Tony went over to join them while I made a cuppa and went over to meet everyone, great place in the sun for morning cuppa and good conversation.  Great chat with lovely people, very helpful re hook up and recommended a site just 7km East  €9 with all services at Cobreces. They left after lunch and think they will go south through Spain then across to Faro......as we always say, all plans subject to change. Exchanged Facebook and blog with Ingrid and said if they ever get to NZ to visit their friends we would love to see them, gave them our card with email on.

Still waiting for letter from MSD, interesting that Paul had to do a similar thing with his as well and get it witnessed and stamped.  We had an email from Malaysian airlines saying our flight from KL to Akl has been cancelled, now arriving 9.30am but our flight from Heathrow doesn't get in at 5.30 pm so we would miss the connection.  Sent a message to Travel Agent, she rang for to say they also changed all flights, leaving Heathrow 10.30am and arriving Auckland 11pm.....asked to see if she could arrange a more friendly depart and arrival time closer to original times. She will get back to us.

Tony went to test the sea temp, settled for a paddle as too cold to go further in, the sky clouded over and the blue turned grey as the heat from this morning also left.

Went for a walk, very nice temp but cooler than this morning, John and friends arrived back....weren't too impressed with their next stop so came back, it certainly is stunning here. Carried on our walk and ended up in bar on the hill overlooking the moho's.

Had a phone call from travel agent, that is the only flight they are offering, so asked her to look at other options,  Singapore,  Cathay Pacific  both quite a lot more....she found one option Virgin Atlantic to HK then Air NZ to Auckland for £410 more at good timings. So booked that...asked her if they could wave the cancellation fee of  £12 as it was Malaysian Airlines that cancelled not us.....she phoned back to say they had, so only have to pay extra £398.87.......yeah we had a win.......so we had another beer, very pleasant sitting up here looking over the beach. Pat rang to say she had a letter saying our RAC had expired...but we had paid it at Pats with Insurance etc. it was an automatic payment renewal.  So disregard the letter. Whoops checked when we got back have not paid as it say automatic payment 15 Nov.

So when we get email,  have to now print the paperwork, sign and scan it to send back......so after our 2 day hook up at Cobreces,  we will come back here,  hope to have both lots of paperwork,  back to library to get printed off, filled in, signed, witnessed and sent off....on Monday.
