Tues 7 Nov 6° Cangas de Onis - Oviedo

Very fresh start, we got to the turn off to the inland or coast route but very tricky roundabout and got stuck on inside lane so had to take the coast road to Gijon. Sun came out and warmed up,  through several tunnels but none as long as Italy haha. Then a 670m viaduct.

Around the narrow streets of Gijon trying to find the Lidl, turned out to be a tiny one in a narrow city street....so drove back out to a big one just out of town for supplies.

Raining again now for our short hop to Oviedo for stop for tonignt, large car park out of town.Email from travel agent.....Tony signed the form, but because I signed the first form, I had to sign the second one even though it was a different transaction. So after some huffing and puffing I went to a photo shop over the road, he was closed but opened up for me, he didn't have a printer, but I understood around the corner past a coffee bar in a kiosk. Missed it on way up but saw it on way back down,  emailed form to very helpful lady who printed off the 3 sheets 30c. I signed it, photographed it and emailed it back.

Very intermittent wifi signal so no photos for Facebook or blog, now typing this on Thursday from A Coruna.

Just managed to get couple of onward sites, don't like being out of communication. Don't think this first week in Spain has been much fun to be honest, we are both a bit fractious.

Some lovely times though so not all bad, certainly a test of our patience, but how lucky are we to be doing what we are doing, even meeting the Mayor of Comillas.

Email in from travel agent, they need hard copy as well,  thanks Chris for spare envelopes...will get stamps tomorrow before we leave.

Homemade vegetables and gammon soup for dinner with fresh warm Pan, perfect on a cold wet night. Several moho's incoming and plenty of big spaces.

Played Phase 10 card game.
