Cooler and cloud covered sky, went to the showers but could only get cold water brrrrr. Louisa arrived and got it running hot for Tony so he had a good shower, but the Dutchman asked him to show how to get it hot and it didn't work again.....obviously a knack to it.
Chris came over to say goodbye, they were going to Comillas to see the Gaudi building, gave them the map we got at the information centre in case it was closed, so we're able to do a very small thing for him. Bernice came over to say goodbye, next thing it was 12.30 and they came in for a cuppa. Chris said he worked as a truck mot tester and that the windscreen was in 3 zones a, b and C. Where the wipers go is a and b the left edge passenger side is c and nothing should be in the middle zones a and b.....where we had our sat nav and dash cam. So he unscrewed the Blaupunkt and put our sat nav on that bracket on tge dashbosrd and moved the camera, so we are now legal. He showed us his electric adaptor that read the ehu current, as all different in spain, some less amps and some wired back to front. Showed him the one Les recommended we buy and he said yes that's good and to use it when we hook up in Spain.
Amazing guy, so helpful, they finally left at 1.30 but looked like the best of the day had gone and rain was due.
We had lunch, it had cooled right off now, rainy afternoon then very heavy making puddles in the gravel parking area.
John, Ingrid and Paul and Tineke arrived to empty waste and fill with water, John just had his shorts on in the rain....messaged Ingrid she said minimal wet clothes haha...good idea. She said she also had a cold shower when stayed here but Paul had a hot one.....must be a male oriented shower haha. They left again after their domestics.
So there we were on Ehu.....I thought ohhhh cooled off a bit so I'll put the heater on low......the fridge was running on elec.....I know I will steam the vege in the microwave......all good....put the kettle on for hot water.....addedd the mince to vege and put it in the mw......turned it on........you got it......nothing....overloaded and tripped it dahhhh....not a lot of thinking going on here.....haha looked in moho all OK, Tony moved the outside plug to another socket and it was fine, so had tripped outside. Must have set off an alarm as Louisa came to ask if we had a problem, told her and she said yes only 6 amps 3 things only....no problem....dinner smells good....all OK.
Heavy rain all night.
