Tues 5 Dec 12° Mijas near Málaga Costa del Sol

Much warmer night, bit noisy from the road traffic, we were going to drive to Autocaravanas but saw what looked like Bessie's twin on other side of massive car park, drove over to talk to them, Grenville and Janice from Wales, been in motorhome for 8 years, he was a truckle and mechanic, very helpful, had a look inside, even  that was identical but theirs was a Swift Bolero.
He had a look underneath, said it's OK,  but don't need it, but have driven with it on for 12 months so leave it, not doing anything either way. Gave us a few more tips then I had a drive of Bessie, he said just keep looking in the mirrors and remember it takes longer to stop. He watched for a bit then they left, they were meeting people further up the coast, had been in convoy for 4 months with 2 pairs of Aussie around Greece. He said he felt it was his job to help antipodeans haha. I finished my book last night so gave it to Janice, they have a whole cupboard full of dfds for their entertainment.

No problems driving,  reversed,  parked but of course big open space with no traffic, that would be a different story, but at least I have now done it.

Decided not to go to garage and save our money, Tony got back behind the wheel and we drove to Aldi for supplies.

Chicken, kumera, broccoli and gravy for dinner.
