Mon 10 July 14° Lanesborough to Carrick on Shannon

A knock on the door this morning 8.15.......first time.......Gerry said to come in  for breakfast,  eggs and bacon courtesy of Darren, very nice, great hospitality.  Lovely to have had the time together. Sarah and Gerry fly to Amsterdam for a couple days then back to NZ.

Said goodbye then topped up with diesel €1.15 ltr €30 prices seem to fluctuate quite a bit.

Roundabouts, roundabouts and more roundabouts on our short drive today to Jamestown harbour near Carrick on Shannon.  lovely quiet little harbour, small car park and it's free to stay overnight.

Relaxing, chilled out afternoon looking at the river and the boats and water life, peaceful.

Pork chops for dinner.
