Plan A drove 3 miles to Woodside Ferry Terminal....Notice up saying Ferry Services suspended till further notice. Buggar!
Plan B drive through tunnel to Liverpool Marina.
But wait....Tony's patience pays off again.....the sign was for yesterday as it was so windy. If we wait till 10am they will know if the ferries are running again today. Yeahhhhh!
Drive to Seacombe Terminal and get free parking. Got there but just missed the 10.20 next one in an hour. So had £5 breakfast while we waited.

And a fabulous dry, sunny day so see it all on, a great city, what a day, we drove back to Fort Perch Rock, New Brighton car park and decided to go out for dinner to finish off a perfect day.
Went to Weatherspoons, I had Lamb shank and Tony had flame grilled chicken, pork ribs and onion rings.....definately would not do any of that in Bessie' s kitchen haha. That and 3 pints for £20.
Drove back to water front which was full of moho's so adjacent to that another grassy area and a pitch and put with few moho's there so we joined them.
Thank you Liverpool.....it was grand!

Apparently John is holding 2 acorns in his hand as a symbol to world leaders to plant trees for peace, only Canada and Israel did.

Catholic Cathedral

This was the first design but at 27million it was deemed too expensive. So they built the existing Cathedral but then realised the bells would shatter the glass walls, so the built a concrete wall in front to house the bells.
The bombed out church left as a memorial to the 4000 that died.
